Hard to detect the claimed 10hp gain, but another up side is the new intakes weigh half what the stock ones did....and the sound at full throttle is much better.

Clean system... HP claims are sometimes suspect but more fresh air is always good for a little boost.

And who doesn't like the sound of improved induction?

It does feel that the engine spools up a bit more freely.

Do you have anyway to monitor intake temperature? Have you thought about isolating the air intakes to draw in air from outside the engine bay?

I don't have a way to monitor. There are heat shields between the filter and the radiator guarding from heat in addition to holes in front of the filters which let fresh air pass through the radiator mounting area. Under operation, or forward motion plenty of fresh air passes over the filters.

There are longer induction tube sets available which reach all the way through the above mentioned holes and the filters end up in front of the radiator....but to install/clean or change filters you have to remove the front facia. I did not want to opt for that headache.

Did you happen to try the Focal Spirit One? What did you find excellent about them compared to other brands? I am in the market for new headphones and am looking at either the focal spirit one or denon d2000.

It came down to a question of value for money. These were very well reviewed. I didn’t get a chance to audition them. Here in Adelaide there are not a lot of outlets offering a wide range. I listened to some of the Beats phones and Sennheiser which were all good although the Beats phones were pretty expensive here. Haven’t heard the Focals. I guess took a bit of a punt but I am very happy. Been laying in bed in the morning with my IPod and these things and revisiting my music collection. Thursday and Friday night I sent on the lounge listening through my entertainment system to CDs. This really exposes just how good the bass is and how detailed they are. You can really pick out individual instruments with these. I am sure there are better headphones out there for more money and I would assume there would be phones that offer a more pronounced bass for that type of music but these handle everything I have thrown at them so far very well. My musical taste ranges from classical, jazz, rock, heavy rock and metal and a few things around the fringes. Not into rap, hip hop or doof though.

I got a 1 TB Western Digital hard drive for $60 after deducting about $40 in credit from Amazon.

Installed it last Tuesday into my Macbook and it's been working fine.

Ah yes, last night I came back from the Bourne Legacy. $9.75 for a film with lots of talking, an admittedly decent story, and an absolutely shit ending.

The PowerMac G4 I bought for $25 while screwing around at my school's surplus liquidation store was a MUCH better purchase.
I'm dropping out to create a company that starts with motorcycles, then cars, and forty years later signs a legendary Brazilian driver who has a public and expensive feud with his French teammate.
