I didn't see them mention what engine this would use. I assume the six seventy five V12?
Geneva Embargo Leakage: Beans get spilled on Rolls-Royce 200EX concept - Autoblog
Apparently a 6.0 Litre V12
Some more info on it in this article: Officially Official: Rolls-Royce 200EX - Autoblog
I was expecting something more than a downsizing of the Phantom wrapped around something that is heavily reminding me of the Ford Interceptor Concept and Lincoln Continental Concept (2002).
not bad looking, absolutely, but it lost some of the Phantom's best bits. It's a bit too horizontal, and the squared look doesn't follow the lower profile of the car as with the Phantom which is quite high.
Better looking than a Continetal Flying Spur (the GT design never worked on the sedan bodywork imo), still I would ago a million times for the Quattroporte, filling the gap in price with a V12 swap perhaps, and some refinements to the interiors by Stola. kthnksbai.

The 'proper' Bentleys will soon be no more. Either way, the Phantom drives MUCH better than the last of the real Bentleys; even a Brooklands driver I know concedes that.
Having driven the Phantom DHC, I wouldn't say it drives better than the QP, but because the RR can hustle surprisingly well for such a mammoth car it makes driving it something of an event.

It doesn't matter if the Bentley drives worse than the newer Rollers.
A Bentley is an event, makes a Rolls-Royce seem redundant and obvious. Why the Bentley is better for the driver than the Rolls-Royce is like explaining why a glass of whisky in the right moment at the right place is so pleasing. Very difficult to put into words and someone who doesn't like drinking can't really understand you.

put in this way: when you see a Rolls you think "that's a rich old dude"
when you see a Bentley, you think "that's a badass rich carhead"

i don't like it very much, looks like a square car trying to be round, or a round car trying to be square
No, when I see a Roller I think - that is a baller, when I see a Bentley, I see a Conti and think that guy wants to be a baller.
I don't think the Arnage holds a candle to the Phantom regardless of Ferrer's mysterious X factor argument above.
And I don't see Arnages.
I was considering an equal confront: prev gen Arnage VS Silver Seraph, that's to say when the companies were only one, and the car were based on the same platform.
Between Phantom and the latest Arange, I should go for the Arnage, but I would, again, switch to the Quattroporte. Those aren't simply my kind of vehicle.
What I don't like about the Arnage is the fact that BMW did a brand new car since the beginning, unveiling the Phantom and renewing drastically Rolls' image, while VW just refreshed, and slowly too, the same old car, which was brilliant, but not thanks to their efforts.
So, I would like to buy an Arnage just because of what VW did, leaving the Arnage alone and giving us the Continental family.
now, considering the Continental, I'm glad they didn't touch the Arnage.

This looks miles better than the Bentley Continental Flying Spur. One of my favourite designs I've seen so far this year.
