There are several positive things about a list. Firstly, the problem seems to be almost solved, not counting those five teams. Secondly, a field of 26 cars is impressive. Thirdly, there are no Lotus, March and Brabham in the list. And after all, Campos is in, maybe they will take Petrov with them, judging by how he is leading in GP2 now

Surprising not to see Lola or Prodrive on the list though.

Yet. In theory if the 5 teams will regret the FIA rules (which I highly doubt though), Lola and Prodrive will be first in a new list.

I am guessing the ones that got let in had already made some progress in setup the operation, where as the rest may still just be speculation, or in the case of "Brabham" or "Lotus", scam....

I hope it will Predictability is a bad thing for racing. I don't mean that every Button's victory was unpredictable, but a season in general surely was.

Lola was certainly not just speculation. They were well under way with their plans and had already hired staff. Just heard here at the track that Lola are awaiting the 19th before they proceed with anything.

Radiolemans has broadcasted an interview with seemingly one of Lola officials (I was late so I don't know who exactly it was) and he said that they have two interesting projects concerning racing, but didn't say anything certain. I supposed one of the two could well be an F1 team.

was hoping to see aston martin on the grid next year.

also i am interested to see what shape the brawn team takes after taking on next years advertising. i presumed they would take on a more industrial title after having more involvement with corporate sponsorship.

It is not. Nick Wirth is behind it. He worked at Benetton before, owned Simtek and is the designer and builder of the current Acura LMP1 car.

Thanks, was reading it on the web.
So why the EE entry has been rejected, they seemed quite serious about it.

Who knows? Lola was probably further along than some of the teams currently in Formula 1.
