Kubica never raced in GP2, and they had a contract with Glock awhile before he won the title, since he came back from the US IIRC.

Listening to the race last night thank god someone invented Mute!.
The 2 knobs commentating just shit me sideways with Lewis this and Lewis that.
Last night i felt they disrespected Mark Webber to much blaming him for wrecking Lewis Hamilton's race, They just seem to go on and on and on about it and put him down,
My opinion is if the kid is good enough then he could pass. He doesn't need your excuses and please get off his zipper he needs to drive.
I feel For Jenson he was the love child now they couldn't care less about him.

If I understand you quite correct, you say that Schumi was on 600cc? But the part you provided clearly sais that Schumacher rode a 1000cc Honda, and the last phrase sais that all three riders competed in a category where no bikes with engines smaller than 600cc were allowed.
EErr.. Sorry if I understood you wrong, but that's what I've got from the previous posts...

Both stints Hamilton was behind Webber, he was on the softer tyres which were graining. When theyre behind another car the performance drops significantly from the lost aero anyway. At most circuits, the car behind has to be almost 2 seconds a lap faster to overcome the lost aero and be able to overtake.

Rather interestingly, Button lapped faster than Massa, Kubica, and Kovalainen - that Honda has some speed there somehow or he is a wizard.
I think he just had good track conditions. The Honda isnt a faster car than the BMW, Ferrari and McLaren in any dry conditions. Fastest lap is just that, a lap.

The last lap or two of a race sees very different circumstances for all teams and cars. Most cars are at this point are on their lightest fuel loads all day having only one or two extra laps of fuel in them. Combine this with many cars now driving in clean air, some cars turning down the revs (to preserve engines for the next race) as they have very little chance of improving or losing their position, some cars still racing each other for position, some cars engines on their second race and being able to explore the limits, and an varied assortment of other anomalies all leading to very different lap times.
