thankyousir, the trick is to try to get it on a very sunny day but when a light cloud goes over so it doesnt overexpose the detailed areas. Flowers are low in appeal because of their limited subject matter but still.. if you get a colourful depth of field behind it with some fairly good detail on the flower itself via macro it can work out ok. For every 1 good photo there's 20 scrapped ones. But I hope to get some more interesting photos in the next few weeks to enter.. I've still got some good ones from the airshow but dont want to bore people..Originally Posted by whiteballz

its nice, but not as nice as ur last entry. the blacks doesn't looks so black, maybe more contrast will fix it? or play around with Offset under Exposure tool, that will help too.
