I'm making my visa and plan to be at The Event this year. Anyone else coming?

Lucky man. My goal is to be there in 2014 for the return of Porsche.

Who are you going with? Make sure you do a lot of research and plan your trip well!

Very lucky indeed Going with my father - he also loves racing, we often go to various events together. Moreover, I want pay a visit to Schlumpf collection at Mulhouse if it works out.

I'm doing the research for some months already, and most rooms were booked back in December with some hotels still available in 60-70 km from Le Mans currently, which will be our choice seemingly. If I was sure I'd be there, I'd book the hotel last autumn (take that into account planning your 2014 trip ).

I've already been to Le Mans once, in 2010, so I know something about the place, but back then we were lucky to find a room very close to the town at a very nice and small *** hotel, and this time we'll have to travel a bit more, it seems. Doesn't make it worse, as I like travelling by car and after all 60 km is not that much

Taking my camera with me, so will try to make some nice shots.

Club Arnage posts an annual guide which I hear is very valuable. You aren't going to camp? If I went, I would like to spend a week there and experience the full, dirty experience.

Are you driving from Moscow to Le Mans!? That would be epic!

We're not camping this time again, but it is a plan for the future - I'm sure I'll be there again and again and surely for a dirty experience someday.

Nope, we're not driving from Moscow - I'm landing in Italy (supposedly Milan) and we go from there - to have a nice trip, but not too long. Also, Russian numberplates would frighten people on the roads, although it is remarkable how different do my countrymen behave on home roads and abroad

Sacre Bleu! Zut Alors! Comme méme Jean Claude!

    That's french sorted. Or something.

I've always wanted to go, but never sort of went ahead with it. Always more interested with rallying, and later on it clashed with my schedules.

I guess it's one of those motoring events which you have to attend at least once if you are a petrolhead.

Actually, I've become used to take the last two weeks of June off at work, so I technically could attend it...

I'm planning of finally going next year as well. I've put it off due to money deficiencies and study/work commitments too often now!
