    I bought a house!!!

    Well boys its been about 2 years looking, and about 4 years scrimping but my I bought a house. here's a link to it, if you guys wanna see. we ended up settling on 140k with a hot tub included. i move in march 14th.

    tell me what you think.

    Lincoln, NE (68506) Property: So many new amenities.. So many new amenities.. Ne...

    also, the ad says 3 bedroon but in nebraska you cant count rooms in the basement as bedrooms so in reality its 4 bedroom 3 bath room.

    Wow, just a bit over $100 per sq ft ?
    Usual European jealousy will ensue ... ..... we're at least double that and NEVER get a basement

    damn that's a good deal. we're not in a high-end town or anything but my place isn't much bigger and cost another $100g over that price. good stuff!

    You would probably see European-like prices in most of the urban regions of the US. The midwest and south sees a lot of cheaper housing, giving you nice bang for the buck.

    The prices around me in the NJ/NY/CT area are some of the highest in the nation.

    Rocke, I was using "urban" prices up here .... OK, not quite as distant as midwest
    Jeez, you go to cities like Edinburgh and you can multiply it by 5 and if you want to go into the historical parts of the city then it's 10 times
