I'm not into this kind of games, but I just like it. I think the first had a good combination of enemies, good environments and well designed battles schemes. Those damn Flood still manages to scare me every now and then (mostly NOW, THEY ARE EVERYWHERE, HALP!!!).
one reason i liked ODST is that there is no flood, such boring levels when playing against the flood.

Serious Sam HD (PC). For fans of the original, it's the same game only it supports modern resolutions and runs properly on modern Windows. For newbies, it's an old school big, dumb, punishing shooter. Such epic co-op fun. Me and my friend just got to getting the cannon.. firing huge cannonballs at mechs, bulls and huge lava golems.. what more could you want?
