Way to go Chevy for copying the Chrysler PT Cruiser, a couple years after it's been launched. The best 4 door hot hatch right now I think is the Mazdaspeed 3.

This isn't a hatchback, it's more of an MPV, isn't it? Altough I guess that since Americans have kind of an alergy to hatches, everything is put in the same category.

Yes, but so does the Mazda 5, but you don't call that a Hatchback

I don't see why you couldn't call it a hatchback. To me, any car with a big door in the back could potentially be called a hatchback.

Edit- Then again, what's the definition of a hatchback? So is a minivan a hatchback?

Edit- I think I figured it out. The Mazda 5 isn't a hatchback because it's got sliding doors, and so does a minivan.

Mazda 5 is an MPV, but it has sliding doors to aid entry and exit. I don't actually quite know how you define it

That's a wagon. A hatchback has a sloped rear door.

Now that I've said that I've utterly contradicted myself on saying that the Mazdaspeed 3 is a hatchback.

    So confused..................

Yes, completely because that's a hatchback as well...

    More like a maxivan anyway...

I think we are straying too much off topic (again).

Oh well, the whole point of a forum is to discuss things anyway.
