I know it wasn't literally a debacle. I see a few of them around here too. But it's stained Porsche's reputation. You'd think they'd try not to follow it up with more mainstream tomfoolery. We all appreciate that there's financial gain to be made from selling stuff like this, but to be honest it's embarassing to watch. It's like seeing [insert your favourite hollywood totty/hunk here] making great movies for so many years, then building on that success by publicly offering backstreet hand shandys for a fifty grand a throw. Financially great. But just plain tragic to watch.

Its the nose of the Cayenne that puts people off. If they do a facelift to bring it in line with the 911/Boxster, it should look a lot better.

Porsche are lacking credability right now in my book. After the whole Cayenne debacle you'd think they'd be showing us more supercars to dream about at night. But no. They show us saloons.
they did. its called the best porsche ever made, some people also call it the carrera GT.

this is the best 4 door porsche picture i have ever seeen.

if they do make it, this car is worthy of the porsche name.

by the way a V-10 engine????? is it all new or or is it some modified version of the one in the touareg?

you know what will be weird in the Panamera, the act of getting into the backseats, seems like the act of getting into the rear seats, through your own doors, that would be weird

Do we really need this car.? Next, they'll build a Porsche station wagon and call it the "family sports car". If I want a family car, I buy a Volvo station wagon. Period. If I want a fast family car, I buy a BMW station wagon. Period.
I just can't imagine anybody playing cool wearing his dark sporty sunglasses with a one week old baby on the rear seat and the baby carriage in the trunk, going 300 km/h in a Porsche "four door family sports car" on the Autobahn and the child crying like hell and the wife next to the driver complaining about his recklessness and trying to calm down the baby. These must be weird people who think that adds to the cool and sporty appearance of the Porsche company....what's life without humor? I just can't stop laughing at the sight of what I was just describing .
