    Nissan Qazana Concept 2009

No real mediatext about this car, so I took the relevant parts out of the Geneva 2009 mediatext from Nissan:

    Qazana Concept

It was confirmed that a future Nissan vehicle based on the Qazana concept car will be manufactured at its Sunderland plant in the UK from 2010. Qazana is a small Crossover and has been conceived to challenge conventional wisdom about what buyers of small five-door cars should expect.

Speaking of a future model for Europe inspired by Qazana, Mr Tavares confirmed: “I am pleased to announce that the production version of Qazana will be made in Europe at our world-class manufacturing facility in Sunderland, United Kingdom in 2010.”

Qazana will reinforce Nissan’s position as a pioneer of Crossovers, building on the success of the Murano - now in its second generation - the Qashqai and recently introduced Qashqai+2.

I can't help it. I have to say it.
This Nissan has a pornographic name.
Let me explain, I'm Portuguese and the name of the car in Portugal means "Do you do it Doggy Style?"
It is how most portuguese people refer to anal sex in a offensive way.
    There I said it.

I didn't read it that way, but I did see Kwanza for a second there. Your interpretation is more interesting though.

I was thinking I was going crazy for liking it, but seems like others are infected as well.

It looks alive and fun in a good way! Kind of how I would've imagined off-road cars to look in the future as a kid.

Exactly. It's a funky, happy car. As someone described it, it could almost be french.

Now I'm not much interested in the off-roadiness of it, but I'd like to see this design language in a road car.

Does it remind anyone else of the Citroen C-Cactus concept from a little while back?

    yes.

it's not bad, but looking at the interiors I have the feeling I'm trapped inside of someone else's body.
