hehehehehe, Dad says his steerings ok, but can be a little too light at some points, not all that great with feedback but he syas the lightness really makes low speed manouvers easy.

Yeah it works.
This car keeps amazing me, so many little gadgets and stuff that it has. basically, compared to current german cars it has all the same technology, tons of stuff, albeit the nav screen is on the driver window thing instead of dash board, the only thing it lacks? Automatic headlights.
No joke.
Sam, how much for the conversion, and where do they get these from? I've seen MTM Manual RS6's before. But don't really know much about them.
I think this car, with a manual and a professional driver could get damn close to 4 seconds flat 0-60.
But 0-60 is it's weakest point. It really gets going around 50mph.

Der Beast; 2007-2010
Das Auto has passed on to its eternal leave of absence this week. Leaving behind two teary-eyed gear heads as the keys are handed to its new master, its only slightly modified state (a 2007-ish Audi MMI system, BlueTooth integrated radar detector/laser scrambler and a tune that was recently dyno-tested at 520 rwhp and 500 pound feet) shall be deeply missed, and inexorably mourned.
As this chapter of my car fanaticism comes to a close, I am optimistic for the key fobs that the future holds. With great trepidation, I must calibrate my sites on the forthcoming vehicles to grace my father's garage. Perhaps none as flawless a combination of raw and unadulterated acceleration, grace, stealthiness, practicality or speed - though of that no one can be sure.
Though nothing can successfully take its place as a family man's supercar, the strategy from here on out appears to be trying its best to fill the void. Der Beast's immediate replacement is (I am unsure of the year) a mid-1950s Chevrolet pickup truck (that has been updated with modern running gear and I believe a Chevrolet 350) to be joined shortly thereafter by a Carrera S or 4S (though as picky as my dad is in finding color combination and mileage in his cars, this could be more than a year; he searched for the RS6 for nearly 12 months).
In times like these, it is important to reflect not on the sudden, gaping wound in your speed-fixated psyche, but rather the good times which were had with the fallen. Please join me in a moment of silence in respect of the 2003 Audi RS6 which will be so sorely missed.
Thank you and goodnight.

nice words. I can tell you will miss it.
I fitted the navigation unit you had as well. Well worth it.

Was it traded for something else or did it meet a far more grisly demise?

(Yes, I got that from the simpsons movie. I am not proud, but it is what it is.)
The statistics on sanity are that one out of every four Americans is suffering from some form of mental illness. Think of your three best friends. If they're okay, then it's you.
