There'll always be a special place in my heart for this one though...
It may turn out to be faster but it will never takes the Dodges looks. The grille on the dodge looks great and side body styling but in the rear the spoiler looks really dumb. It probably doesn't help the truck at all. come on dodge take the stupid spoiler off it's useless.......

Dodge just started selling these beasts in Mexico, I'm gonna have to try really, really hard not to buy one for my biz. As long as the sales person doesn't pop the hood to show me the engine, I should be fine

Dear Lord... can you imagine the gas mileage towing anything with one of these. People actually do that??

They're actually not recommended for towing. 6000lbs is pushing it for the transmission I think.

I think you're wrong - otherwise, they wouldn't have rated it to tow 7500 pounds...

According to http://www-5.dodge.com/vehsuite/Vehi...u&adid=u&rid=u, the standard cab isn't rated for towing. The Quad-cab is rated at 7500. I wonder what the difference is.

Edit: The 4 door has a 4speed auto as standard equipment. I don't think the Viper's 6 speed is meant to take that much stress.

indeed... I didn't even notice that the regular cab isn't rated for towing... odd. I think you're right though, the reg. cab appears to only be available with the 6MT and the quad cab appears to only be available with the 4AT - that must be the difference...
