Have you tried your local junk/scrapyard? Perhaps another owner has one he doesn't want and can sell you the parts.
I'm dropping out to create a company that starts with motorcycles, then cars, and forty years later signs a legendary Brazilian driver who has a public and expensive feud with his French teammate.

    Ferrer, you rock!

One small point of criticism though, shall we allow it after bombarding us with these great additions...

Your source actually puts up downsizes of original (press) pic's to a max of 2048x1536

Still, impressive and there are some rarish pic's which you can not find anywhere. Ah well, up to now

Point taken, and if you have higher res originals, they are more than welcome.

I had a Renault 5 TS with the long ratio top gear. It could achieve 5,0L /100kms on the open road and 6,5L/100 kms in town. It had the 1.4 motor of the 12 Gtl and performed admirably. The only fault over the R10 that preceded it was extensive body roll but it felt safer.

welcome, I wasn't aware that this model was called TS in other markets, as far as I remember we had it as 5 GTL, with a detuned 1.4 engine to achieve the fuel economy you describe. In the same vain my first car was 4 GTL which had the 1.1 liter engine of the 5.but with the same horsepower (34) of the 858 cc in the normal R4. I could manage 5.2 litres on average.

I think though we also had a 5TS which was not geared for economy but for sport.
