After a week of frantic bidding, the results are in from Scottsdale. The sale itself was also the most successful with a $48 million total. At rival RM Sotheby's, this low mileage Ferrari 288 GTO lead the way with a final sale price of $3.4 million, while the Bonhams auction was topped by this fabulous Maserati A6G 2000 Frua Spider.
Having been successful in the past with this Rally Monte Carlo winning Porsche 911, the German manufacturer have now announced a return to rallying in the R-GT class. Offering a first glimpse of what is to come is this 718 Cayman GT4 Clubsport Rallye Concept that was demonstrated this weekend at a Volkswagen Group gathering in the Zell am See winter sport resort.
