EFIJY named "Hot Rod of the Year!

Yea, it's true, the Holden EFIJY Concept has just been awarded Hot Rod of The Year in America. Obviously, the EFIJY turned alot of heads at this competition. See just how good Holden's are. Anyway, the judges from the most popular car magazine, HOT ROD, were suprised just how much attraction the EFIJY grabbed, especially being an Australian car in America. You would think that a Chevy would win, but it didn't. The Holden designers work has finally paid off, I guess.

Maybe it should have been Hotrod of 2005.

It already paid off last year with the exposure Holden gained from the concept.

Well, yes and no. It has but they weren't expecting an award for it.

    Who does expect awards?

The latest I have heard (actually it's today's news), is that the Efijy may possibly be the star of the GM stand at the Detroit show. Detroit is a huge gig.

I guess Holden should enjoy their success whilst they have it. Apparently they won't be doing one off concepts any more...

it may as well be if they aren't allowed to take over 40km/h, like many concepts. I have no idea if it can take any speed or handling.
