I'm an H2 hater not so much an H1 hater though even though it gets crappy gas mileage too.

I hate the H2 but I think that website went a little too far. Pullutes like nothing else?!? I don't know about foreign versions of the H2 but the US version has to pass emission tests just like any other vehicle. It pollutes the same as almost any other vehicle. If you want to rag on a vehicle then why dont you pick something that really wastes gas like a Lambo Diablo or something. How bout we all rag on pleasure boats. 10mpg for a Yacht would be great mileage.

I don't really hate Hummers. I like big trucks but Hummer H2 is pretty big and they should offer a diesel engine. I mean, it's a truck. Trucks should only run on diesel. Maybe, then it won't pollute as much. Ferrari Enzo consumes the most gasoline. Then it's Lamborghini Murcielago and after that, it's the trucks.

im with NAZCA, when it comes to SUV's everyone jumps on the "my god it pollutes and sucks up gas, they should be stricken from the road" but when cars such as the enzo or any ferrari, any lambo, any supercar/sports car really they pollute just as much if not more, are just as dangerous if not more and have infinitly less practicality than any SUV on the planet. i see no one(including karrmann) complaining or signing pettitions to get these cars off the road. funny huh? i detect a bit of hipocracy in this here room

Looks reasonable until you start looking at some figures: This year Porsche will produce about 40,000 Cayennes. The annual production number of all so-called supercars that you mention together may reach maybe 4-5,000 maxium. and may be driven on average less than 5000 miles a year. They form a drop in the ocean. (will we start a poll against motor sports??)
If you haven't been driving in crowded city areas like Amsterdam or Paris you cannot really appreciate what a nuisance a big SUV is, especially when the owners think that they also own the world. If you really need a four wheel drive option then there are such decent cars as Audi quattros, various Subarus and more which you can also buy as a station wagon.

Do you mean the Ford Escort saloon ? or is their some other Escort in the US ??

Anyway, for the European Ford Escort - THEY DID.

AND it won world rallies AND you could buy it from your local Ford dealer
