by euro, do you mean the new shape AH model? realistically, its the same underneath as the Classic, so theyre only worth it perhaps for the new look (if you like it), new equipment levels and a few other little things. from a performance perspective, $23K on an AH Astra would be wasted over the $19K Astra Classic

    is it the same underneath?
i woodve thort thered be a whole different package, as it is from opel...
    is opel owned by GM?
if not then i wouldve surely thort itd be different
    thats what i meant
yeah but the astra classic is ageing, and the opel one looks very modern and had a nice shape
maybe not worth the money, but its more modern and people buy it
    i would
    only the coupe tho
    :P
sorry about the squares, they dodgied up wen we actually sent them

Well theyre both technically Opels, just to set that straight. I think ones built in Portugal, the others built in another plant. They are owned by GM though, as is Vauxhall who sell them in the UK.

As for them being the same underneath though, im not sure of the specifics, but the Classic and AH share common underpinnings, so the basic handling and chassis balance of the car is very similar

I heard that the AH is better handling than the classic, a few tweaks here and there.

could very well be, but there were definately alot of dissapointments locally when the AH was released. it might pick up in sales once the Classic is replaced by the Viva

is the viva that daewoo? i dont tihnk the daewoos are going to do very well at all, is it daewoo or daihatsu?
either way i think they are going to fail, people dont want a cheap overseas car
    cheap means poor quality
