Should Comcast, which is buying NBC, have more motorsports coverage on VERSUS and now NBC? Does North America need a racing tv channel? Find the answer to that exact question on facebook.

    Well, they're off!

Allan McNish made a cheeky move on one of the Peugeots in the Dunlop chicane, just to show that the Audi's mean business. Normal service was soon resumed though, and the Peugeots are formation flying at the front of the field and already starting to pull away.

Tommy Erdos has stuffed his Lola into a barrier already! Should be able to continue, but it's a terrible way to start a race.

What was the reason? I mean they have collided with who/what? I missed the moment.

There was only one crappy view - Mucke tailspinned into the barrier.

I suppose he lost it somehow under braking.

Huh..#8 is suffering problems, seemingly with gearbox, as one of the mechanics tried to switch the gear and didn't succeed.

well, Speed's coverage is over for a few hours so they can show the practice for sunday's cup race.

no actual racing, but practice. come on. possibly one of the most significant races of the year sidelined to see cars practicing driving around in a circle?

    straight up crap.

    I know. It's bullshit.
Apparently you can watch coverage of Le Mans on SpeedTV.com, but I might download an online TV client so I can watch a feed from Eurosport or MotorsTV

I hate how NASCAR controls Speed I love the commentators for F1 and sportscars, but the coverage is rubbish usually.

Problem with the #8 was the gear linkage.

F**K. No online TV client has any channel carrying Le Mans

    I'm listening at radiolemans.com now.
No watching until 6 pm here
edit: GODDAMMIT. RadioLeMans is acting goofy. It keeps stopping to buffer and it shouldn't be doing that
