With the strings the US government is putting on money to the car industry then I reckon Tesla will be head of the queue for huge subsidies.

I personally think that this looks a lot better than the Karma.

It depends really on how much was invested. Unlike most car companies, right now their capital expenditure is probably not that high, and they probably pay for their parts on car to car basis. They don't make the chassis on the Roadster, they don't make most of the components, they are charging a fortune for a copy, so I'd imagine they still have some razor thin margin on the Roadster sales. Now if this sedan were to go on sale for a relatively reasonable cost at some volume quantity(which I am assuming thats how they can get that price down), they would need to have much higher cost and a much different business model. Right now they are probably having more difficulty at raising the capital for the new car(and plant) than surviving outright....

I like it. It's not the best design over, but its nice looking and neat to see EVs get more attention. Though unlike some people here, I like the roadster too.

I like it a lot. But, it is a little too Fisker/Maser.
But, hell, maybe that ain't a bad thing.

The back looks like a Jaguar XF, and the front looks like Maserati. It looks really nice I reckon!

I like it. It does have a Maser vibe about it, which IMO can only be a good thing.

    So, it does seat 7?

Because I saw they said so at autoblog, but I can't quite see how this is possible.

    it's stated by Tesla itself.
I don't even see head rests in the back, let alone space for 5 persons.
