Hey there this is my first post.

I've been collecting car wallpapers all year and just found this sight the other day and its mint! I'm slowly working my way through the pages and found this one on page 36. Thought I'd add a few pics even though its an old thread. I've got quite a number of other japanese cars if anyone is wanting any, seems they're quite rare on here..

Welcome to UCP.

You'd be right in noticing the lack of modded Japanese cars on here, probably because we aren't too big on the drifting/tuner scene as a forum, but feel free to contribute. Stick around, hope you have a good time.

Indeed, Japanese cars seem to be rare here. I wouldn't mind seeing more Japanese cars, especially the classic ones.

Welcome to UCP.

First picture, Silvia Twin-Cam Turbo RS-X S12

The Silvia (CSP311) was introduced in March 1965 and attracted attention as Japans first specialty car. Following the S10 (launched October 1975) and S110 (launched March 1979), the S12, the fourth-generation model, was launched on August 23, 1983 (its sibling, the Gazelle, was launched at the same time).

The Silvia was on the cutting edge, with its innovative styling and lively performance. The S12 was no exception: with its bold front mask and fully retractable headlights, a powerful wedge-type silhouette, and high-performance twin-cam 24-valve FJ20 engine, this unique car was very popular. Two body types were available: a coupe with a notchback roof, and a hatchback with a wide-opening rear gate.

Following a minor change in February 1986, the FJ20ET and FJ20E engines were replaced with the new 1.8-liter twin-cam turbo 145PS (net) CA18DET engine, following which all models were powered by the CA18 family.

The twin-cam turbo RS-X was the top-of-the-line model for both the coupe and hatchback series. Following a minor change in February 1986, it was equipped with an electronically controlled 4-speed lockup automatic transmission with overdrive that automatically switches between power and economy modes.

Second picture, Silvia K's S13

The fifth- generation Silvia (S13) - descended from the first-generation CSP311, launched in March 1965 - was introduced on May 17, 1988.
This car was developed as a compact specialty coupe with an emphasis on beauty and the driving experience. Exterior and interior shared the same design theme, and numerous advanced technologies, such as the multilink rear suspension, were incorporated to enhance performance. For this reason, the car was greatly appreciated by the younger generation, who are very particular about the way a car handles. The S13 was regarded as a high-quality product, and in 1988 it received the Good Design Award by the Ministry of International Trade and Industry.

The natural lines and curved surfaces of the streamlined styling set the S13 apart. Together with its interior - which, from dashboard to door trim and center console, featured a unified design - this car had the unmistakable look of a specialty coupe.

The multilink rear suspension was a new idea that was later adopted for the Skyline. Together with the HICAS-II 4-wheel steering system (option) and the 1.8-liter twin-cam engine (CA18DE/CA18DET), the car was equipped to provide an excellent drive.

The S13 was available in 3 grades*: Ks, Qs, and Js. The top-of-the-line Ks was equipped with the S-pack (rear spoiler, projected headlights, 195/60R15 tires, etc.) which accentuated the sporty character of the car. Following a minor change in January 1991, the engine was changed to the twin-cam SR20DE/SR20DET.

*The names of the three models were derived from the three court cards: King (K), Queen (Q), and Jack (J).

The Gazelle is coming don't worry.

Apparently both were on sale based on the same S platforms. AFAIK Australia only got the Gazelle. Japan got both the Silvia and the Gazelle.
