    It's not ugly.
    Your face is ugly.

It definitely does have some awkward styling detail (e.g. the headlights), but it is a great looking, and more importantly, great driving car.

I'd have to go with the Veritas; screaming V10, lightweight...
And it doesn't look as bad as the McMerc, which just looks like the normal buyers of Mercedes cars: smoothed off face in the attempt of looking young, yet too heavy and available only in fashionable colours.

Or maybe a Caterham or Westfield with only a flyscreen would have a better cost/fun ratio.
Buying a car and not driving it is like buying a meal and not eating it.

I think I've found a way of deciding wheter a car looks good or not.

If you like it, it doesn't; if you don't, it's a looker.

It’s a difficult choice, but I have to go with the SLR. Looks amazing and probably better quality and service back up…plus its got the “racing pedigree”..

Mercedes makes a great riding car?! Those headlights ruin the car, and you know my feelings on headlights. I Would like to see it with E-Class headlights, but you know, really, I don't like the rear roof line or rear lights either. Buy an E or a truly stunning car, the CL.

Same for me; you like a car, I dislike it. I am happy with this - it simplifies cars I am uncertain about, all I need to know is if you like or dislike them.

    SLR.
    Have Sir Stirling sign it.
Rice it with huge, ridiculous 722 vinyl stickers.
Partake in a useless road rally of my choice, eg. Bullrun, Gumball, GA run, etc.
Party each night wit dem gangsta bitches, aight foo'.

Go "it was so worth it".

If I was after something that was a bit nuts I'd be looking at a Lotus 2-eleven, Ariel Atom or a Caterham R500.
But if it's a choice between these two I'd go with the Veritas. Just like the looks of it a bit more then the Merc.
