This is an unbelievably well produced track from the undisputed genius that is Tom Middleton. From the fantastically mellow drop to the euphoric samples from the orginal track, this will be a timeless classic. probably the most renowned nominee for best progressive house remix of the year for 2009

For those not in the know, Canadian radio stations (with a few exceptions), must play during broadcasts at least 35% of songs that are considered Canadian - there are several criteria to determine if it is Canadian or not. This leads to a lot of shitty musicians/bands performing on the classic rock station I listen to (many from the already shitty rock era of the 80s) getting big airplay - Kim Mitchell, The Five Man Electrical Band, Michel Pagliaro, Bryan Adams, Colin James, Tom Cochrane, FM, all of them are atrocious.
In classic rock at least, it's a joke to hear these piece of shit bands go up against the big names from the US and the UK (the countries that had the best classic rock I'd say - and where most of my favourite music originates from, classic rock or not). There are a few good classic rock Canadian bands, Rush isn't bad (they are getting on my nerves now), used to like the Guess Who, and of course Neil Young and whatever back up band he has at the time are always stellar. Neil Young in my eyes is amongst Canada's best ever musicians, and I would say the best Canadian of his era.
