Mercedes have signed Petronas as title sponsor. That must be a big blow for Sauber.
If you should see a man walking down a crowded street talking aloud to himself, don't run in the opposite direction, but run towards him, because he's a poet. You have nothing to fear from the poet - but the truth.

Sauber will have financial and technical support from Ferrari, but yes, it's certainly a major blow for them.

What's up with the official team name? Mercedes GP PETRONAS Formula One Team.

Shouldn't Mercedes Petronas GP be enough..?

According to German newspaper Bild, care of BBC, Michael Schumacher has signed a 1 year deal with Mercedes and an option to continue on if he does well.

Holy shit it's actually happening. I have mixed feelings about this.

He is going to fail spectacularly. Unless he wins every race. Which he won't.

Will he still have it? Will Mercedes be any good (I wonder how much money they had to put into developing their car for this year when they were Brawn last year)?

What if he does manage to somehow win the title though?

In any case, when you've won 7 titles, what is there left to prove?

And if you still want to race, what about WTCC, DTM, ALMS, ELMS,...?

too slow, you don't get the same force, and not the same rush....I am sure that was part of the problem...

I don't think so either. I think it was more for him losing control of other things because of this initially.

I believe he still wants to manage drivers now and in the future. This more than anything else, except the Rangers football club compromise, is why he wanted the ban overturned.
