a fair share of the skylines on the road are just GTS-T's with the 2.5L motor, so although theyve got their fair shair of power, theyre not the GT-R's the owner wants you to believe it is

Yeah GTS-T's get faster than GTR's, the AWD system cant take the extra power that the GTS-T's can.
Hmmm.. A guy dragging in a VL Turbo? NO WAY!!! Jackass....

Yeah I guessed VL standard is about 110kw. Now all I need is to bolt on a turbo and get a calais front end....

Not that easy mate, My sisters car had to be rebuilt at the front from the smash, We needed to get the hole front replacec, And Her dum arse ex wanted to do a standard VL front Cause of the extra work involved she slapped him out lol
And as for the turbo she wants one but i think there are to differnt engines one with stronger internals maybe, But if they can do it go for it

Theyre the same engine, theyre just tnued differntly, the turbo would have stringet internals, diffent compression ratio etc. Take it to holden and see what they can do for you

holden charge by the hour they way to expensive.
He needs to find a VL guy, Someone that will take a week to do it but only charge $600 for labour, Holden would charge $1000 to start
I went there to ask them about some bushes on the diff, $75 for the bushes, 3 Hour job looking at $300-$500, Thats if they can do it with no problems.

something interesting about the turbo motor.....Holden actually bought the rights off Nissan to use it, so the R31 GTS ended up taking a 140kw naturally aspirated version, and ended up matching the turbo motor the next year with 150kw...

First you will have to fit the engine in, providing the wheels and suspension dont break under the weight lol
