    Girlfriends and Project Cars

    Not sure if any of you have seen this or not but figure its a good spot to post for your entertainment. I'll post the Jalopnik article that abridges it and if you want to read the full 11 page over 100,000 view forum article that too! Enjoy for some good laughs. I'm sure many of us can agree to this!

    I know this issue far too well. But I've found a way around it.

    I've solved this problem by having neither a girlfriend or a project car.

    Its like renting vs owning.

    Sure you've got somewhere to live. But its not yours.

    Owning a classic Alfa or such wouldn't be as charming etc if you jut gave it back when it catches fire.

    If you gave the Alfa back whenever it decides to ignite itself you'd never have it in the first place.

    And anyway, italian cars would be ongoing project cars forever on that basis. Even our Delta...

    Women (of any nationality) are like Alfas indeed. They look beautiful, cost a fortune to run and break down all the time. But when they work, boy are they good...
