I defer to Dr. Dre on this one.

I think there are a good number in design, but not in the engineering bit. I might be totally wrong about that. If women don't want to be in the car industry, and it's lack of interest on their part, than I see no reason why there should be more. If however its bias and prejudice and all those other wonderful things, maybe so.

Gender should play no part in who is in the automotive business. It should be thise who are most capable and the best for the job.
I want to die in my sleep like my Grandma, not screaming like the other 3 people in her car.

There are 10 types of people in this world. People who understand binary and people who don't.

Visit any serious automotive congress and you'll see plenty of women around. Men are still the multitude but still, it is on the rise

Does anyone else think cargirl1990 should stop creating whimsical threads?
Buying a car and not driving it is like buying a meal and not eating it.

    damn it!

There are a bunch of women in the industry, just not at the highest spots.
In the design process there are a few more, still not those you see in press conferences and such.

If having more girls into cars means a flood of pointless-one-line-one-question threads, then live me alone.
