A Farewell To Modernity (Redbird's Swansong)

It's something like 18"x36" in real life.

damn. so deep. the juxtaposition of the car and the ocean is transcendentally representative of the human heart divided against itself. i need to go meditate now. no in all seriousness, very nice work

hmm... forgive my ignorance, but was this a real-life incident involving a crane accidentally dropping a subway car into the water? haha well i like your inspiration, i can honestly say i would never have the muse to create art based off of industrial slip-ups. i really do like it btw, this isn't sarcasm

They were outdated R33-35 NY subway cars built in the 50s, they were decommsioned in 2002, stripped and sold to other states who sank them in the ocean to incubate reef growth.
