504 Coupe v 406 Coupe

No stats this time, just sheer desirability. Which of those two classic Pininfarina french coupes do you prefer?

the 504 is, the 406 not....I have considered buying one, but it lacks too much interior space to be practical for my needs.

I agree. I just might get the 406 with an engine that had a little more hutzpa than 2.2. Did they make it with a V6 diesel?

IIRC, 2.2-litre four cyl petrol, 3-litre V6 petrol and the 2.2 diesel.

there even was a 2.0 petrol car. And with some minor changes the diesel can get enough "hutzpa" to "deal" with the V6.....

Future classics? 406 Coupe still has a long way. In fact the Merc 300 CE is more desireable

It has a long way true, but it has future classic genes all over it. Especially considering the 407 Coupe.
