Dont know about fuel- ingnition maps, they all run the Motec ECU's, which has many different fuel, load, ignition maps available, IMHO think he bogged it down a little on the line and needed a double dip of the clutch

He reminds me of Ambrose in his early days at SBR having trouble with his starts. He worked at it with his engineer, Paul Forgie - the same engineer who now partners James.

He didnt have that much trouble last year though. Couldve been the pressure, or couldve been a new system running in the car, but it seems SBR have already planned some more starting practise at their next test day.

He wasn't a regular front row starter in 2006 - so I'd agree pressure had alot to do with it.

Now how's this for confusion - www.v8supercar.com.au is now reporting Todd as the round winner. Now we all saw Rick get the trophy and congratulations on the podium and dubbed "Champion of Clipsal" .

Now what are we to believe; the usual that the round winner is determined by the highest aggregate points (Todd) or the supposed unique position the Clipsal 500 is in, simply in that the winner on Sunday is the winner of the weekend (Rick)?

Yeah, in the press conference Todd agreed that he was the moral winner of the weekend.
