Whatever was said between Lewis and his team doesn't alter the fact the Trulli had no right to retake third position. His original penalty for overtaking under safety car conditions should still stand from what I can see, and Glock should have the third place and the 6 points.

I wonder what's the longest time elapsed between a race finishing and the race results being declared official? At this rate I wouldn't bet against Fernando Alonso being declared the winner on April 14th after the 'diffuser three' get excluded!

Trulli didn't overtake under safety car, he was leading Hamilton, ran off track when the safety car was called(before being picked up by safety car at the start/finish, but running at the ECU limited pace, reduced tire temperature as a result, full course yellow is declared when safetycar is deployed), Hamilton overtook Trulli when he ran off track, then the team told him to relinquish his position, at this point they have passed the start/finish, with Ham leading Trulli. Then in the subsequent lap under safety car, Hamilton slowed to let Trulli by, thus establishing passing under safetycar, which was why Trulli was penalized in the first place. However, if Hamilton had gone slow enough(as he was instructed to by McLaren to let Trulli re-pass him), this comes into play:

Article 40.7: "Overtaking will be permitted under the following circumstances... if any car slows with an obvious problem."

The problem for Hamilton came from the fact that he told that to Adam Cooper(and McLaren released it in the press release), that he let Trulli re-pass him, but told FIA steward that he did not delibrately slow down. Which is basically the F1 equivelent of lying under oath in court(except I don't think there is actually an oath involve, just an understanding that they are supposed to be relying factual info)...

I hope they deepen the punishment because so far it's too little for what he tried to pull.

autosport.com - F1 News: McLaren 'embarrassed' by Oz events

Another case of the "rogue" employee's action embarrasing the team? With the spygate you would think McLaren would be reformed somehow...

McLaren have suspended their sporting director over the matter, claiming he acted independantly of the team in asking Hamilton to withhold information from the stewards.
