    UCP Design Competition?

I had an idea, that if we had a theme for the design of a car forumers could sketch up an idea for their entry, then submit it and users could vote on their favourite design. It wouldn't be limited by the quality of your sketch, but by the way it looks and what people like. Feel free to add input on this.

i think its a good idea, we should be given at least 2 weeks to come up with a good design, so we can make it as awesome as possible

Well I was thinking it could be like multiple polls like the chop comps. Maybe have one every month or so.

Cool, but it shouldnt be based on drawing talent but by the design and idea of the car, bacause of this i think t3-d moddelers should be allowed

yeah, I entered last years MT Design Contest to be blown out of the water by 3d drawings, even though they claim judging is by ideas, not talent.

I really would recommend you to enter the MT Contest, but submissions deadline is already up.

oh well...somthin u might think bout entering is the scholastic art contest...i did last year (freshmen in high school) and won a silver prize which is equivelent to state recogntion while gold is national. time isnt up for entries and im entering my lotus into it this year.

note: if u qualify for silver or gold ur art goes up in teh art museum for a month. this is waht i found best about the contest as i got to see my own art in the museum.

I would consider myself a good artist, but my attempt at drawing automobiles usually comes out distorted. My perception and scale isnt too good in sketches....
