If you are in a race at a great track would you really rather sacrifice the pure experience of driving - tactile steering, your right foot as traction control, left foot as ABS, brian as ECU, etc, just so that you could win?
A race result that is down to your personal skill as a driver, or a result down to how well the Ferrari engineers programmed the car to take care of your mistakes?
The idea puts me off wanting a Ferrari even more.
Electronics+Gearbox = 11 jerky, thumping, clumsy gearchange settings
Brain+Gearbox = inifnite gearchange settings from "holy crap that was a great heel & toe downshift" to "there goes another gearbox..."
