I thought the contrast was amusing.

'Murica! F Yeah!
I am glad you have finally gotten rid of that horrible Miata and gotten something that suits you better.
"Kimi, can you improve on your [race] finish?"
"No. My Finnish is fine; I am from Finland. Do you have any water?"
It's a shame I didn't have a camera when I parked my old Mini in front of an F-250.
Life's too short to drive bad cars.
Ferrer ballin' in a Hemi 1500 in Barcelona would be epic.
The funny thing is, I saw several of those massive trucks while driving through Europe (mainly in the northern countries, has to be said) all Fords and Dodges.
They are rather fast... but the Amaroks, Rangers and Navaras were all over them in the motorways. Those things shift!

What exactly were you doing touring around greater commulandia?
Obviously the Cummins was yet to hit boost. I have had the displeasure of reading several diesel truck forums posts ad the consensus among the bros and hicks seems to be if you chip you diesel you will make 800bhp, 1,800 lbft, get 30 mpg in their 4-ton trucks, and can roll coal everywhere you go.

Oh sure! I just don't think they are really that suited to busy autostradas in the Italian alps or potholed belgian autroutes.
Also, I wonder what the fuel consumption must be at 90mph and I think that most of the ones I encountered were petrol V8s, you know if you go the redneck way you may as well get the whole package.
I saw a fair amount of other American cars (Chargers, Camaros, Corvettes, Mercury Marquises and Dodge Darts), as well. And by a fair amount I mean about 6 or 7.

I always take long trip in June with the car. This year it was Amsterdam.
And since no long journey in Europe would be completed without stopping in Maranello to have the best pizzas in the world (and while we were there, buying some Parmesano vecchiato di tre anni in Parma) we went there as well.
Result? 6 countries and 4.600km in 6 days.

My dad and his Mazda RX-3 in Hong Kong.
I'm sure Matra will get a kick out of it.

Even the best get caught out in the wet at the 'Ring.
Story and pics at BMW Ring Taxi Crashed
Estimated >110mph when went off and clearly the car and air bags/curtains did their job. SO .... why then do I need all the FIA mandated safety cr@p when I race mine ??
PS: No, Sabine doesn't drive for Race Taxi any longer. They separated when she was "vocal" over the management at the Nur0-land park Sabine now does taxi laps in a 911 with RSR
