    From sources at Maserati-Alfa Romeo I have heard that there will be some kind of buy-out that will finally separate Mas-Alfa from the tentacles of FIAT.
    In any case the present C8 is a result of some sort of collaboration between Mas and Alfa engineers.

    Not a bad idea - in any case, both brands are imho in desperate need of some
    revitalisation - the looks of the Maserati from mid nineties till now are really
    disappointimng and the follow up for the top-notch 166 Alfa is in sight but how will the car look like? (model 169).

    I wish both brands all the best and I an really looking forward to meet my Alfa No 8.

    thats why its called a comtemporary classic beacuse of it's ugliness, no offence to the car.
