In a car...about how fast (time) did you accelerate?
Me...First a 0-40km/h drift/burnout (And yes...on the open road...oh well...it was like 7 a.m. no cars) Then a 0-60 mph in about 6 secs in my friends' RX-8. That was sooooo sweet

The fastest acceleration I've felt was in a car that would probably do 0-60 (if launched right) in the low 4s, maybe even high 3s. It's the blue MR2 in the photo, and I was the passenger for a few track laps. That day it was putting down 460rwhp. (The black one was built by the same guy, (http://www.koracing.net) but it "only" had 350rwhp.

I have never meassured my seven..
But I think it will probably do 0-100 km/h between 3,0 and 4,0 sec..
But when racing we seldom drive undre 100 though
Oh.. and on the road.. I always forget to bring my stop-watch when I have opportunity to have a go in a fast car...
But Gallardo must be the meanest on the road for me..

Boeing 747 just over 1000mph. No idea how many seconds that took, but it takes off at about 220mph.

my rx-7 has 396whp (dyno'd) and on a good launch probably does 0-60 in low 4's
