    Exhaust Noise

    ok so i have a stock E36. and the exhaust makes this odd noise as if its burning excess gas, late. is this some sort of backpressure problem because its a stock exhaust? Well anyways I just bought a Straight through Designed Magnaflow exhaust and was wondering if that would fix that noise. because i cant say i like it.

    What kind of noise? Popping, backfiring? More intels needed.

    Does it happen when you take your foot off the accelerator after revving it up a bit? That would be it over-running and dumping fuel into the exhaust, but your car shouldn't do that.
