Schumacher start his own F1 team

Perusing the news, and this came up.

    Schumacher 'could start F1 team'

Interesting, would be good to see. Although, would he get his fellow mates to drive, or would he recruit in new blood? Would be fun to see him going at it against his old team at Ferrari.... without him driving!!!!

Would be great, though, Schumi as Audi F1 team leader, sounds like a decent German race-winning combination, not?

What about Jordan? They finished third in the team's championship in 1999

Did Eddie Jordan ever drive in F1?

As far as I'm aware he had a number of seasons in karting, then junior formulae like Formula Atlantic and Formula 3. He realised he wasn't gonna make it as a top driver so went and started up his own race team, starting off in domestic racing and then moving up through the ranks to Formula 1 in 1991 (with much success too). As far as I know he never drove in F1.

Eddie only raced in Formula Atlantic, F3 and F2. He did get a test in a MCLAren F1 but nothing happened and the following year he setup the team for other drivers. So he doesn't count

Ok, so technically it wasn't Formula 1 back in his day, but you get the picture!
