its amazing how people will bash you for asking a badly phrased question, when half of it was thier fault, vote anyway, then not apologize (first few responders, you missed the minus sign, maybe this will teach you not to skim so fast.)

I would definately take the M400. It has 400 HP and weighs about 2100 pounds. Plus it has a minimalist approach which is how I like sports cars. It also has very good handling which I also like.

That wasn't picky, he is supposed to be a Noble entusiast.

I'd take the Noble, it has blistering performance.

Where does this speed come from ?

Figures I've seen posted in the UK for showrrom is 190mph.
The Noble M400 showroom spec is 185mph.

Where does 220 come from ?

The Viper was tested at a local base, and there is a video of it beating a jet, and pulling off 220MPH as a top speed.

I'm not entirely sure about this and I don't think this is true, but I've heard the Viper GTS-R Concept pushed 225MPH to 235MPH. I don't think that's true.

OK, so a special tuned version specially setup once did 220+.
Not really a fair comparison with any other car then

A brit once fitted a Rolls-Royce 24litre aero engine to a Ford Capri and used to show how fast it could go at shows etc.
I dont' think anyone claimed that Capris were fast based on that

Likewise when tuning companies replace 3/4 of an engine and claim that their Supra or Viper or Corvette or Corsa is fast doesn't mean ANYTHING for the stock car.

Just trying to make sure apples and apples are being discussed.
The stock Viper's alread a few mph faster than the Noble top speed, it doesnt' need "talking up"
