That overheating was caused by a bird which was hit by Peugeot and partly blocked the air access to the radiator, wasn't it?

The TV told that Toyota may enter next year with a Dome S102 based hybrid LMP1 car.

I didn't know the finer detail, but did that happen on all 3 cars or they just did the cleaning as a precaution? Because I recall 3 cars came in around the same period for the first cleaning, and 2 cars I think came in in the morning and did the same thing again....The SpeedTV crew were speculating that Peugeot just designed their car so tightly for aero that the margin for error was so small that made any debris entering radiator could cause a cooling issue.....

It was actually in the pit for some time with at least one problem. And the Team Essex car had a misfire-problem with many hours ago to go.

still a far cry from the old days of LMP2 cars crapping out one by one less than half way through the race though. Gotta give Porsche prop for that.....

Finished in top 10 no less....

That was one hell of a race. I'm disappointed for Peugeot, but then again, you all said it, poor pit work. There's always a next year...

McNish really deserved that win. He drove his heart out throughout the race.

I'll miss Ove Andersson at the helm of TTE.

ACO Officials about the GT-One: "GT prototypes need a trunk space..."
Ove: "well the gas tank can be used as a trunk... technically."

    Interesting bending of the rules.

I would like to see Toyota win Le Mans - they got second twice with some great cars and are deserving of the win.

I would like to see how many laps a modern day F1 car could do around Le Sarthe, now that'd be entertainment. Wonder how far one could make it
