It is probly the worst joke id ever made the word Avanti is itallian for going forward

Thanks, that confirms that the mirror image I posted earlier is a TE21, similar vertical headlight. Graber did a great job on these cars, although underneath they not have been the most modern.

Alvis Salidan Armoured Car introduced in 1959 as an Armoured Reconnissance vehicle. It had a top speed of 45mph and was powered by a Rolls Royce 8 cylinder engine. The vehicle waqs driven by all six wheels and steered by the front four. By the 70s the vehicle was no longer suitable for front line duties.

45 MPH is pretty good for a vehicle that size, and it was a 6X6.

The Alvis reminds me of my own personal mount while doing service: The DAF YP408. It was diesel powered and 6X8. It could do 85 kph on the road. The picture is taken from a dedicated website to this vehicle.

I'm not sure how to check but if you don't please add the: 300c SRT-8 and Magnum SRT-8, they are wonderfully built cars and are fun to ride in.
