These are my pictures from the 2004 Concorso Italiano at the Black Horse Golf Course in Monterey Bay, California. It was the largest gathering of Italian cars ever with over 1700 vehicles and also the largest gathering of Ferraris ever with more than 550. There were some amazing people there and some amazing cars. Sergio Pininfarina and Piero Ferrari (son of Enzo) were there, as well as designer Piero Rivolta, Tom Tjaarda and Steve Saleen. Lamborghini used this event to introduce the Murcielago Roadster to North America and Ford introduced the Shelby GR-1 to the public. Nopassn and I actually helped the Ford guys unload the GR-1 off the truck at 5:45 am that morning, so we were two of the first people outside Ford to see the vehicle.
