Was it pouring at the time?

I wouldn't mind taking photos of lightning, it's the water issue that I'm worried about.

I shot that indoor, through a glass window, you can sorta see the reflection of the window in the shot....

It wasn't actually raining hard either, it just continiously having lightning and thunder, was kinda surreal....

I gave it a go too recently, turned out way less good. Put up the tripod behind a window and went and gave it a try. Dont really know where it went wrong.. Not my entry !

Balancing on the edge of legality, security came to be a big bugger for me here. I was leaning against their fence to take this and other pictures. They threatened with police and everything if I didn't delete my photo's. Offcourse I didn't and police luckily told me I had all the rights to do this as long as I wasn't breaking in or sticking the lense through the fence..

I must say that its very clean for such a high ISO level
I am easily satisfied with the very best.

I think it is due to the low exposure of most part of the photo.

I'm not sure it works in that way, AFAIK graining in high ISO affects images as whole
I am easily satisfied with the very best.
