Frankfurt IAA: Audi A8 Wins Executive Car of the Year

Executives in Germany hold the Audi A8 in very high esteem. In a vote to determine the most popular executive car of the year (“Chefauto des Jahres”), carried out by the business magazine Impulse, this saloon beat all competition in the luxury class. The Audi A6 took second place in the upper midsize class. Around 12,000 managing directors, executives and self-employed persons participated in the vote, which is being held for the third time by the business magazine Impulse. This award for the Audi A8 is the latest in a line of many prizes which Audi’s top model has received in the course of the last few years.

The Audi A8 is available in four different engine versions and with two body designs. The luxury saloon sets standards in terms of technology and ergonomics, for example with its aluminium body and the highly acclaimed MMI operating system. State-of-the-art diesel and petrol engines as well as quattro permanent four-wheel drive underscore the unchallenged position that the Audi A8 enjoys in its class.

Audi A8 is a goergeous car, inside and out, far nicer than the 7series or Sclass but cant match the Maserati in looks, still a well deserved win.

I love the A8. IMO it looks much better than the 7-series and S-Class.
