    GT40, 06'Zo6 Vette and the 06' SR/T viper

I was at CVS and i saw automobile magazine and on the cover were these three cars and i instantly thought: this will be a good poll on UCP.
the viper has 550BHP supercharged the vette has 500 and the GT40 has 510 if i'm not mistaken. both the GT40 and Vette have aluminum frames and runflat tires. this is all i'm pretty sure that i read. which out of the three do you perfer.
btw the article stated that the viper was there first choice then the vette then the GT40

Well I have the article and I remembering reading the Vette placed first. Let me check again

btw, they had terrible track times compared to road and track magazine.

    for example: Automobile Z06 had a 12.1 quarter and 0-60 4.0
    where as R&T Z06 had 11.5 and 3.5

    Thats a big difference

You got it all wrong the GT not GT40 has 550hp with a blower. The viper has 505 and the vette has 500. The GT is a nicer car Moter Trend didnt rate them but when car and driver tests ill make sur to post results. Ive seen people who were more pleased with there GT then there vette.

In my opinion I would take the Corvette. It has great performance and a nice interior. I believe that it is faster than Vipers on a track. It also has racing pedigree in the C6-R. A very nice package for relatively cheap and even if the ride is a bit harsh, I could deal with that.

GT for me please. It's mid-engined and looks better in my oppinion. And hardly anyone (who doesn't know much about cars) would recognize it. It's definitely rare, Viper's are pretty rare but ever guy has heard of a viper. And corvettes are as common as anything, i wouldn't give a vette a second glance.

The only reason the Viper gets the short end of the stick is because the new gen came out first. The Corvette is only a good deal because they are just now getting to where the Viper was back in '92 as the best deal for the money while the Viper was screwed over by merc. A Vette offered with an auto is not a sports car or exotic. The GT is just over priced revival.

so you are sayin that the Ferrari Enzo is not an exotic car because it is pretty much automatic?(manual without clutch, which is about same as an auto)
