I guess

The car was indeed, spectacular. Perhaps the 59 Cadillac of its era. It was done to the point of gaudiness. You almost expect to see it in a 30's era Disney cartoon with a cigar smoking wolf behind the wheel.

I admired it for its finish and execution yet prefer other coach built cars of the era for their purity in design, line and flourish.

In anyone's book the 39 Labourdette would have to be entered as highly unique.
