But when you get to the super fast sub 5 second, and even some sub 8 second classes, piloting those high horsepower monsters becomes incredibly difficult due to torque steer. Which is why you see cars with a 30 foot wheelbase. WHich is why when you take an engine with the same horsepower in a chassis roughly a third the length, you get some really mad stuff. In terms of sheer insanity, it can't be beat. These cars very easily loose control and if it wheren't for the NHRA's stringent chassis regulations, many people would die. As it is with many racing organizations, but again, 10000BHP in a car just slightly longer than a GT car with those massive tires.....
