    fantastic new X5

Every time you think BMW has now created utter and miximum uglyness with its X5 models, they are able to surprise us again, this time with a Coupe version.....
Sorry for the small size of the pic I just stole it from the Auto Motor und Sport website. But the good part is that the picture is so small that you need not run to the bathroom immediately to empty the contents of your stomach.

Henk just got a pair of superglasses; dieselglasses.
If you should see a man walking down a crowded street talking aloud to himself, don't run in the opposite direction, but run towards him, because he's a poet. You have nothing to fear from the poet - but the truth.

    Two different photoshops.

I guess everybody already forgot about the BMW X-Coupe Concept launched a few years ago. It's amazing how these pathetic photoshops always freak people out.

I think in this case the situtation is more serious. BMW plans the car, with the same length of the "normal" X5, and fitted eitther with a 335 BHP petrol V8 or a 320 BHP V8 diesel.

I think it's just a bad chop. It looks like an old 3 series coupe stretched to meet the height of an X5 and the front of an X5 grafted on. No big deal actually.

no doubt the picture is a chop, however the worrying thing is that BMW has serious plans to put it on the market....

Well I highly doubt there's a market for a 2 door large SUV. People buy SUV's because they don't want a minivan (or just want to guzzle gas ). If they were to produce it, they would effectively be creating a new segment (unless Audi produces a Q7 coupe). People like the (semi) versatility and the looks of an SUV. Making it a 2 door would effectively be answering a question no one asked.
