12 cylinders or walk!
They know they're going to die on two wheels so they're panicking
I think its a marketing tool (for what, I don't know) and little more than a joy ride for Biaggi. He's out of MotoGp and into superbikes, which I rank lower, so F1 seems a very very very long shot.

Max Biaggi isn't even a more than regular Moto GP driver. He got well know because he kept himself on a lower category for to long without making the predictable step up. Than he made himself even more famous by being an arrogant prick with no skills to back it up, when he challenged Mick Doohan with a back-wheel wheelie in front of HRC's box, just to end up watching Doohan winning all the way up the new championship crown.
Then Doohan got tired of winning and Rossi came in. Biaggi said he was just another driver and promised to win the championship, and again he confirmed to be not more than 3rd best italian biker, as both Rossi and Capirossi proved how much they're worth. In the process Biaggi managed to blame the bikes he drove while others beat him driving anything, and even made a fool out of himself with some dirty moves like the time he gave Rossi a big elbow push on the main straight braking of a circuit.
Now, he wants to trail Rossi into cars, hoping he can beat him at something.
Money can't buy you friends, but you do get a better class of enemy.
DOn't forget his puch up with Rossi on teh way to the podium after the race
I think it is PR stunt also. BUT one to maybe get Rossi to decide if he will enter F1 or not ( or to get US thinking that )
You can guarantee that these two will bang wheels if they raced in F1 and BOTH go off
"A woman without curves is like a road without bends, you might get to your destination quicker but the ride is boring as hell'
I still reckon F1 is too specialised now - will a bike rider really be able to put up with all the grottiness of driving an F1 car for an entire race?
Having said that, he did beat McRae in a rally car very recently - so he obviously has genuine car ability.

And what does that prove? That a young biker is better on rallying after a blast or two than a 40 year old guy that dedicated all his life to the sport?
Give me a break!

Agreed, but, it DOES show that he can at least drive on four wheels.Originally Posted by McReis

Yeah but he or I would get utterly annihilated - the fact that he was even able to keep up (let alone win!) when you consider the fact that he isn't a car racer is amazing. Of course, McRae would probably have won 9 if they'd raced ten.
By the way, it was Rossi who beat McRae, I got confused in the biker to F1 moment.
Apparently he also managed to stick to the arse of the World Kart champion for ten laps. In the champ's spare car.
