    Modus 'RS'

    Hi guys,

Another from me, just a quick one tbh. Very rough around the edges, I know.
Had the idea of chopping a car with parts put on other cars in the same range; or changing them to what I prefer (rather than modding it to sh*t).

    Renualt Modus; dCi -> RS.

    Orig.

    Chop.

    - Clio 197 front bumper
    - Megane 26R wheels
    - Black roof panel
    - Matte Black door handles
    - Lowered
    - dCi side badge changed to RenaultSport one (completely cocked side strips up!)
    - Black grille
    - Black front badge
    - Wing mirror stalk now black
    - Removed ariel
    - Chnaged number plate

Tell us what you think, Cheers!

    Rob

    Aha thanks

Im thinking of doing a rear view with the RS treatment, but need to find a similar image; ie, in silver and against a white background. Looked but found nothing...any help with that would be appreciated guys!

    And more C & C please!

    EDIT:

Had a pop. Didnt take as long as the last, but better IMO.

Hi robcooper. Its clear that you have good taste in cars and the parts you combine them with. I like what you have done, just try to add some more attention to detail. Attention to detail is what really makes your chops look good. Take Kooper's chops for example. He doesn't do that many modifications to the original cars but the finished product looks fantastic because it looks real. Once you take that little extra time to "fine tune" your design you will see how great they come out.

Please answer this: What lasso tool do you use in Photoshop?

Only problem I can think of is that the wheels are a little too small, and too low for a Renault. Otherwise, WOW. I'd be fooled into thinking that it's a real Renault RS.

Wow Robcooper, I can see a lot of improvement in your chops already. Like the parts you used and the mods you made especially.

There are still some blurry spots and parts that don't quite fit correctly here and there, but that will come with experience.

And thanks for the compliment Superwaxer One of the best chops I've personally ever seen has got to be this one though.

Cheers guys, for the kind words .

@ superwaxer: thanks a lot. Im into Q cars, so most of my chops will be of that. I try and add more attention to detail with each chop, but sometimes I just think to leave it unless I destroy the whole chop . Ooh, and in answer to your question, I dont actually use Photoshop, but a program called 'GIMP'. Almost as good, IMO.

@ Roentgen: now you say it, the wheels are a tad small, thanks for pointing that out. And for the huge compliment, too!

@ Kooper: thanks a lot . Your threads on the M3 'Evo' and M7 were actuallu my inspiration for doing this. Yeah a few parts are off, smoothing-wise and perspective-wise, but I feel as if Im getting there!

Anyone have any ideas of another car I could do this too?
    Rob.

Ahaha. My brother works for a web publishing company and showed my it; his company uses 12 editing programs, with GIMP being the only free one. Does the job!
